The delay and over decay and reverb really bugged me throughout the piece. For a sad piano song it seems to lack harmonically in places. Especially at the beginning. I felt you didn't make use of the wide range of chords possible on the piano. For example, a few minor 9ths or 6ths would have helped the sad overtone. Even minor suspensions that could descend into a major suspension, similar to Pergolesi's Stabat Mater dolorosa. Listen to that for some great harmony. Around 2:32 where it gets bassy and loud represents anger more than sadness. And then you seemed to repeat it again with minor variations to the sequence. Could have just left it at 3 minutes. 6:21 is a good example of your descending suspension, even though it was the result of the delay effect. Not the same thing. Overall, not terrible - but i certainly didn't feel sad listening to it. I look forward to your next one!
