Overall it was alright. I would have enjoyed it more if their was a motif of some sort that satisfied the ear. The thing you have going on with the glossy square synth around 1:42 is alright but nothing catchy or melodic in my opinion. The reverb on your lead though is great, but i didn't like what you did to the bass sound. It sounds like held notes, as opposed to say - octaved quavers or something more rhythmic. Overall, it was alright. Good stuff.

Thanks for the honest reply! I am heavily dissatisfied with this one, to be fair - it's simply a bit boring and melodically it isn't all that interesting. In a lot of ways it was simply a mixing experiment.

Oh, also - on the whole bass thing, that's how DnB subs are. They're always long held notes, it's meant to be atmospheric and I guess it's not everyone's thing.

A bit of distortion at the beginning in your low end. Unless that's the sound you were after. The percussion is a bit basic, especially your crash. I'm not really feeling the melody either. Overall a bit of development would have been enjoyable. However i liked the chip tune bit at the end, was unexpected.

The whole process took up only 2 hours in total, so I'm not surprised that it can actually be better! But still, it should be called a Gabba Hardcore then... but still needs more clue on where they should go to cause... I'm still learning up till now!

But still, thanks for review!

Would have loved a bit of convolution reverb on the base that comes in around 1:15. Would have blended great with the mix. The sawtoothish synth you have going on is catchy. Just a bit too repetitive for me.

I know that feel :D could have worked more on it but boredom took over once again
